word to jpeg
Hi
I have a number of family photos that I edited in Word 2007 like changing the borders and others. Now I need to convert these photos to jpeg one by one.
I have googled for the answer but everyone says paste it to Paint then save to jpeg, but it saves the whole page to jpeg and not just the single photo that i need so I can put it on to a printable CD/DVD
Now I come to the experts Virtual Drs....Any Ideas how to do that?

Save them as .jpg then crop them.
I have used FastStone Image Viewer http://www.faststone.org/ to crop all the unwanted stuff off of a picture. Then re-save.

I have downloaded FastStone to be ready
I am using Word 2007 and there does not seem to be an option to save the picture/photo as jpeg

Or,,if you just want to change to a different format or resize? A very good free program is Irfanview ...
Oh,,and be sure to get the plug-ins for a' whole bunch of other stuff you can do with it...

In Word, right-click the picture itself (not the border) and select Copy.
Load MSPaint. (Click Start > Run, type in mspaint and press [Enter]).
In MSPaint, press [Ctrl-V] to paste what you copied, (or click Edit > Paste), then save it as a .jpg.

Thank you for your suggestions
Sorry for the late reply
Perhaps I should have explained a bit more. In Office07 I created a soft edge on a number of photos
I follow your advice and yes I can save each as a single jpeg....but the photos still have this dead square border around it. I just like to save it with the soft border only.
How can I send an example?

offsider--In Irfanview, once you have the image in the window, left click and draw a border around the part of the image you want, including the soft edge. Now chose Edit|Crop Selection. If that is what you want, save the image as .jpeg.

That Irfanview suggestion did not produce the correct effect
I give up
Thanks for all your help
I do'nt know where to go from here

After you get where you want it do a print screen.
I use the free version.
