Outlook 2007 and "Email the selected items" creates plain text email...
I use the "Email the selected items" feature of Windows XP to email pictures. I just select the pictures I want to email and click "Email the selected items" button under the "File and Folder Tasks" panel. The problem is that regardless of what my default formatting composition setting is in outlook (which is set to HTML), this always creates a plain text email. How can I make it so this creates an HTML formatted email?
I have the same problem...need pictures embedded in email msg
I'd like to select pictures in Windows Explorer (using XP) then select "E-mail the selected items" and have the pictures appear embedded in the email message (being included as attachments also is fine). But the important thing is to have the pictures appear embedded in the email message. When I select "Email the selected items" my Outlook client is launched in plain text format so that when I hit send, there are no embedded pictures--only attachments. If I change the Format of the message to HTML before I send it, the pictures still don't show up embedded in the message. A friend of mine does this with his xp machine and it works fine--I haven't had an opportunity to see how his machine is configured. Can anyone help.
