If you have a scanner, OCR software usually comes with it.

I never have used any of these. (I use the OCR program that came with my scanner.)
... into Excel 07 ... ?
If yes, it may be possible to scan to a comma separated file which can be loaded to Excel. Available with all OCRs I have seen.

Beware of free OCR downloads. They seem to be a favorite source of malware.
