"Oh my god, no way!" Audio
Hello and welcome to my very first post here. Actually it's not, I used this place about 5 years ago but have forgotten my username, etc.
Now then, we've all seen those hideous smiley adverts that say "Oh my god, no way!" and things like that, right? The thing is, when I open up IE6 (normally use FireFox, of course :-P) on a machine, it will shout this randomly. Sometimes overlapping itself so it's running twice simultaneously, but a second or so behind the first. I can't seem to find out what's causing this - I've tried HijackThis!, SuperAntiSpyware, performed a full scan with the viruschecker, including one from Trend Housecall. Nothing finds anything.
I've actually just noticed that it only seems to do it when IE6 is displaying a Java applet so maybe it's something to do with Java. I'll uninstall it and try another version. I appreciate that makes this thread potentially redundant but if it helps I'll post back and let you know. In case there's anyone out there reading right now that has experienced the same thing and can readily offer a solution, then I'm still all ears.
Thanks for taking the time to listen/read.
"Oh my god go way" voice, sound at regular times, Virus?

Anyway, reinstalling Java Runtime 6.1 cured it.
========================
1)Sound (voice) saying something like "Oh my God go away" or "Oh my God no way". Problem is SOLVED, thank you for your input.
REMOVING existing JAVA application via Windows Configuration and REINSTALL JAVA again did SOLVE the problem. Sound did not appear again.
You can install Java again from http://java.com/
2)Additionally it is possible that you hear this voice/sound due to SMILEYS appearing somewhere in a window. However this kind of appearing the sound is not caused by damaged computerfiles.
Try to stay out of such windows with the mouse cursor.
