Hello all, have a message come up saying, cftmon.exe is trying to communicate with Internet explorer, and the same with CCleaner.
Zonealarm asked for permission for it to communicate with I.E.
Ccleaner, Threatfire as well asked for permission for it to work with cftmon.exe.
Only started after Installing Zonealarm pro.
Is it normal for the above and maybe others to want to communicate with the above .exe??
Is it to do with Z.A??
Any ideas.

The cftmon.exe process is a component used in MsOffice to perform language related functions.
When the website is written in Word and all the word garbage is there, you can get some weird reactions from Word.
Read below. If it applies to you, get rid of cftmon.exe....

Getting back to your original question. If you just recently installed ZAPro, and the messages you are getting are in a ZA window, it, like any newly installed firewall, is asking your permission for the named program to access the internet. You have to teach ZA what permissions are OK and what are not. Any settings you had from an earlier firewall are no longer being used. I think there should be a box at the left of the ZA window to check whether you want the "Deny" or "Allow" to be Default in the future. Check it and you will no longer be asked for permission for that program.
