Hi, anyone else playing with this? I notice VDr opens faster then with Opera, local ABC news was instant, BBC site slower then Opera. Takes a bit of getting used to the settings, appears to have NO main menu (least what I can find) Imports only IE favorites (no problem export Opera to IE then import ) This is of course Beta still if speed is your thing this appears fast. Second opening of BBC was quick turned off DNS prefetching in "under the Hood". Lets know what you think.
I installed it today, and I played with it for a moment.
Nice, fast, but it has a long way to go...Beta, though...
I'll wait a bit. I love Firefox, so I doubt I'll switch anyway...
i just did downloaded google chome .it working really good .fast .but i have one thing that do not work .the minimize and close botton dont work .the botton on right top corner .do you know a way to get them to work .i know that google chome is new but maybe some one know how to do it .

Not only is it new - it's BETA software...Beta software is software that is still being built and is known to have issues. You should never install Beta software on a mission critical machine.
Also keeo in mind, it just came out yesterday and not too many people have it...So keep clicking away and see if you can find the answer yourself.
thank you .yes i know that it came out yesterday .it is faster then my firefox 20011 but it is all there .bookmark etc etc .now i know how to minimize it but not with the minimize botton .well i do have lot of spare time so it is good to try new stuff .but there is no tool bar .no view botton .it is there but it is up in the control the current page just below the minimize botton
As you found out, it is really not ready for prime time.
Keep clicking and checking things out. And it is a good possibility you will end up the most knowledgable person on it.
well i was just reading what people were saying about it .they all say that they don't all bookmark they save well i have all mine and i even created a toolbar with the same site that i had with fire fox
[accuweather.virtual dr.etc etc .then at the end of the bar i have 2 arrows then there is a writing saying [other bookmark] so i have every thing with chrome that i have with fire fox .but no google tool bar .this really bad .and i still did figure out how to get the minimize and close down botton to work .ah well it is way faster any way .good pass time for me .

I installed it last night, just to see what's going on, but as soon, as I found out about privacy issues, got rid of it.
so what you are saying is not to use it ever .is it only google that what ever you say become property of google .no other browser.?????
