[RESOLVED] dvd recorder

Considering buying a dvd recorder to use in conjunction with a vcr to copy several movies that are on tape. (These are comparatively old, and I don't believe that they are copy protected - don't want to buy a "combo" type as I will be discarding the vcr once I copied to DVDs).

Haven't done much research on these recorders and really don't know what I should be looking for, plan on being able to connect to a digital tv later.

Guess, I'm looking for some ideas as to what I should be looking for - HDMI connection, S connection or what?

Ended up buying a Toshiba DR560 last week. Recorded several tapes I have - look fine on an analog TV, anxious to see how the movies will look on a DTV with an HDMI connection.:)
