Are you replying to E-mails you receive that are from a previous account, e.g. MSN pop3 E-mail? For example, if you have changed from MSN dialup like most of the world and now have DSL or cable from another provider you can still receive E-mails from the MSN pop3 server but you cannot send them. Your account has converted to a free Hotmail account by default. So if someone still uses your MSN address to send you an E-mail, when you reply directly to them using the MSN server it will never leave your outbox. Other dialup pop3 accounts would stop working also. Does this apply?

Im sending an email to a friend at swbell.net. I know I have the address correct. Or at least what I was given. I have been using charter for over four years now. Have changed nothing...... If the address was wrong it would just come back as undeliverable....or address doesn't exist.. I have a relative in Datto Ar that has isain.net. Sometimes this goes thru, at times it does not., but I think this is just a different issue being where he lives...........cheap ISP server.. I think they just got dial up last year..........:D
Double check, have the at swbell.net send you a email so you get the right address.
I have been quoted errors many a time by folks.
JBH1876--There are many possible reasons. It is a bit of reading but look here

And another reason is that the email or attachment could be too large.
If none of the above help, what version of Outlook are you using?
Using version 2003.. All other emails send/recieve fine... the "send immediately" box is selected when connected.... maybe it is just a typo? but in the past I would get the details when it occurred........
