Windows 2003 Terminal Server

Hi!

I'm new on this and can't figure out how the licensing process works?

When I log on to my TS from another Windows 2003 Server in the same domain for the first time I get a temporary license. The second time I get a real CAL. Is this correct?

When I log on to my TS from another Windows 2003 Server outside the domain for the first time I get a temporary license. The second time I still get a temporary license. Is this correct?

When I log on to my TS from a XP Pro machine in the same domain I don't get any license at all. Is this correct?

Please help me understand how it works.
