I've heard it said...
Hi to all: I've heard it said that it's not a good idea to have more than one firewall on a system. Nowadays, seems like everybody is trying to put a firewall on your system, the ISP's in particular. If so, is it best to leave the O/S firewall in place and disable others or use one of the others, and disable the O/S firewally. Some techs have vouched that two onboard can and at times do, cause problems. Truth or fiction? Much thanks and regards, Jim S

You only want one software firewall at a time on a PC. As for which one, that's up to you. You can still have a hardware based firewall in front of the computer though (say, in a router for eg.)

Definately only one software FW at a time. Windows built in is not great but better than none... Zonealarm, Comodo, Kerio/Sunbelt, Outpost and a few other companies all make freebies that many here like.
