AJWEBC81 Webcam driver issue

I have downloaded driver for AJ-WEBC818A from http://www.elegance-group.com.cn/jo/down.asp. It dosen't work, Device Manager lists "SoC PC-Camer@" as a problem device. HELP!

Would help if you start at the begining of the story;)

Make and Model number of the Webcam is_________________

Are you hooking it up for the first time?
Has it ever worked?
What OS are you using?
etc

OS: Windows XP
Device: Elegance AJWEBC81 USB webcam

Using this for the first time, I just need the correct software/drivers. The AJ-WEBC818-1.rar driver doesn't work.

Did you unpack the .rar file? (It's like a .zip file).

7-zip will unpack .rar files.

ofcourse I unpacked the .rar file, contents was TECO3_8_VGA.exe.

And you downloaded the "AJ-WEBC818-1.rar" from the manufacturer's site?

If so, are you sure that's the right driver for your device?

There is an Elegance logo on the top and a AJWEBC81 sticker under the unit.

Did the device come with software (on a CD)?

What about installation instructions?
