dmi pool data
Hi, I hope a simple question.
I updated my BIOS and then I chose the default settings in the BIOS and restarted. Then I went back in and set the BIOS to the way I want it.
Everything seems ok but everytime I start my computer or restart it says,
Verifying DMI Pool Data..............Update Success
Now I'm just wondering why it says this everytime even though I've made no changes to the settings since the initial update.
Thanks
Dave.
P.S. I also have a new feature in my BIOS called "Virtualization", Know what that is?

How about telling us what motherboard you have?

Check for a setting to auto update DMI pool [or similar] on reboot my memories foggy here but I think some boards have it as an option.

I checked for the auto update in the BIOS. Couldn't find one. Did see something that said, Reset case open status. Same thing?
Thanks
Dave.

Set the case open staus to disabled. Unless you have a safety/intrusion key switch you are using.

I had a quick look at the manual myself and the only mention of DMI update is part of a new bios install so I wonder if its got itself in a loop somewhere.Try resetting to defaults using the reset jumper to see if it still occours and go from there.
