mem mhz are unreasonably low.

When set to 400mhz ( the default for this ram ) it goes to, according to both CPU-Z and RightMark Memory Analyzer, it's at 216.0 (or to be more precise, switches between .03 and .02 in RightMark). When set to 333 mhz, it shows up around 187.0. When set to automatic it throws some of the timings as low as they can go, and others as high. For example, Row Refresh will go to like 22, or 24, it's really weird.

I can't get a new mobo as of now, I'm really tight on cash.

Anyone got a quick fix? I was thinking I could overclock some other way? ergh. Tried one stick of ram... Don't have any other accessible at the moment.

What you're seeing is normal for dual channel.

Try moving the jumper to clear the cmos, set date and time. Then save and reboot. the mainboard should correct its self. You may have to access the bios and set every thing to default setting, which is what should happen if you reset bios with the jumper. You can find the jumper near the battery on the mainboard. you could have low voltage to the ram also. You can set the ram to auto detect and the cpu will control it.
