Ad-Aware 2007 - definitions update problem

My install of Ad-Aware Free will not recognise that there is a new definitions update released today. So I have downloaded the update file (core.zip) with the intention of installing it manually, as I did on numerous occasions with Ad-Aware SE. However, when I unzip core.zip, I get a file (core.aawdef) of around 4 MB which does not correspond to any existing installed file. (It was always easy to do a manual defs update with SE, because the download unzipped to the file defs.ref, which simply overwrote the old one of the same name).

Any suggestions as to the manual install procedure for Ad-Aware 2007 definitions updates?

Today also sees another software upgrade to Ad-Aware 2007. I am a bit concerned that Lavasoft are producing program updates so frequently - I get the impression that AdAware 2007 is not yet the finished product.

# Close and restart Ad-Aware.
