New machine new problem
Just setup an IBM pIII 800 128 RAM, workstation. Nothing exotic as it really is for work. I've used this same set of apps and settings on my old machine and my networked machines at home without this problem.
Netscape 4.6.1 & IE 5.5 installed with T-1 LAN connection. This occurs with either browser active separately or both open. When an ad generated page such as VR Doc or webopedia is diplayed my cursor blinks at every ad change. It is doing it now as the "Attention All Web Developers" ad below this field entry window changes.
I tried a different mouse but can't figure this one. Any ideas out there?
Should let you know that this is the first time that our T1 has really performed as a T1 should - fast. Thanks.

Booting up ^^^^
I tried a serial mouse, a new PS2 mouse and drivers, I've tried the MS knowledge base search and can't find anything close to this.
I'll be running into trees soon if i can't get an answer. I see the darn blinking in my sleep. Anyone please. Where's Mosaic lately, she's so good with weird things.

This indeed is a strange situation, I haven't a clue about this, but my gut is telling me to try reinstalling virtual machine.
Then again, you also say it does this with Netscape, which contradicts my assumption.
Just a hunch, nothing more, sorry.

Hey lady mo, without a doubt you are the best. I never gave the display performance a thought since it was just to easy and unlikely but I stepped it back 1 notch and no change, a second notch and that solved it.
I think I'm seeing a performance hit though so now I need to test it awhile and probably make a decision I don't want to make either way.
Regardless, You are the one and only https://discussions.virtualdr.com/ MOSAIC1.
