I got bored with the barely audible paper-crinkling default sound in the
Recycle Bin. (Yes, it is late and I am tired.) I changed the default sound to that attached below. It's almost fun cleaning out my computer now. Maybe someone else will like it as well.:)
Just download the .wav somewhere easy to find, then go to Control Panel | Sounds and Audio Devices; under the Sounds tab, highlight Empty Recycle Bin and enter the file path or browse to it; click Apply and OK.

The default Windows sounds are so boring. I use the theme from The Simpsons for Start Windows, and for Exit Windows I use the "Bye-bye" spoken by Dot from The Animaniacs. There are many versions of both, but I like these.
What's funny is when Trixie hears the shut-down she immediately heads for her beanbag, expecting a back-scratch.
I use a toilet flush Wav...:p

I'm going to rename the thread title. I wonder what else people use for sound effects, like maybe a Starship Enterprise phaser or whatever.....
