[Pro] No More Auto Run
I have a new issue that popped up recently. I used to be able to put a Audio CD or movie DVD into my drive and it would either start right up in Windows medis player(for the audio Cd) or in DVD Max(for a DVD). No instead when I put a DVD in it just opens in the folder view showing the Audio_ts and Video_ts. When I put a Audio cd in it opens the same way and just shows the tracks. I know there has to be a easy fix that I am forgetting. Any help would be great.

It's possible that your Autoplay option needs to be reset. Open "my computer", then right click on your DVD drive, chose Properties at the bottom of the contextual menu. Next select the Autoplay tab. Check that "Select an action to perform" is ticked and it shows which program you want to use for each action, apply and ok out, then restart your computer. You need to do this for each action you want autoplay to perform.

Photolady, thanks for the info. That was the first thing that I looked for when this first happened and the problem is there is no autoplay tab. Also when I go to my computer both of my DVD drives are labled as CD drives. I am not sure if that has anything to do with it bu I am pretty sure they were both labled DVD drives before. When I open the properties under the dvd drives the only tabs I have are General, hardware, sharing, Data-add and Recording.

And as I don't get up as early on Sunday mornings, I see Tufenuf was able to help you. Good! Glad it's working now. :)
