[RESOLVED] Text in red, with a line through it. Cannot delete.

Using MS Word 2003 and XP.

While typing, accidentally hit some incorrect keys. Now, when I highlight text to delete it, instead of deleting, the text appears red (I have a blue background) with line through the text. Cannot get rid of this.

What do I do now?

Not to worry. Just got rid of it. Clicked on Tools, Options, Track Changes, and it went away.
