I'm looking for a new notebook pc for myself as I disembark towards college life. I have been looking for a machine for about a month now but can't find anything that suites what I need. Could anybody possibly help? Heres what I need at minimum:
Core Duo @ 1.6GHz
1GB DDR2
DVDRW
Middle-ish range graphics card for gaming in the dorm that is dedicated
Bluetooth
802.11b/g
Screen size is to be no bigger than 15"
I have a limit of about $1500 for the machine.
Can anybody recommend something?
Hight want to read what Maximum PC [page 72 Dec 2006] says about the
HP dv9096XX.
Plus it is about $600 over your limit.
Is there a link to an online article or must I buy it? :\

Thats too big for me ... I want something that can support some gaming (occasional WoW at best with high settings) and still be portable enough to take from class to class
