I just bought a new hard drive and installed windows XP.....very soon after the install I am getting pop up windows saying that my Registry is corrupt. I know that these popups aren't true. Is there anything here that seems wrong?

Hi, yes there are a couple of things "wrong." There's no firewall installed and you never installed SP1 or SP2 which have increased security capabilities for XP. Also, HJT needs to be in its own permanent folder instead of a temp folder.

Your HJT log looks fine, though. :)

Go to www.microsoft.com and download/install SP1, then go here and perform the suggested scans. Once you've ensured that your system is completely clean (post your scan logs here if you want assistance), go back to MS and download/install SP2.
