Windows Start up problem

I have an issue that just started this evening. All was fine this morning.
I am running Windows XP Home sp2. When I start up I am getting a message that says "this copy of windows is not genuine" and says click here to validate. I did not do this. My windows is valid. I tried running Mcafee anti virus, windows defender, cc cleaner etc. Cannot come up with anything.
When I restart it does not start and keeps restarting. When I finally got up again I still had the same message down on the task bar. Not Genuine.
I have attached the Hijackthis log for review. In the mean time I am not shutting down until I can get this resolved.
I saw somewhere a mention of toojan.bankem. I did a search on my hard drive but did not find anything.

Hi. First of all you need to update hijackthis to version 1.99.1. Run hijackthis & go to *Config\Misc Tools\Check for update on-line*. If the site is down, go here and download the selfextracting zip version. Remove the old version by opening the program, going to config\misc tools, then uninstall & exit. You then have to delete the file manually. Unzip the new version into the hijackthis folder, or in the case of the self-extracting version, it will self install into your Program Files folder.

Thanks for the reply. My problem now is I cannot get my machine started at all. It gets as far as the opening Windows screen and then restarts over and over again. I tried Safe Mode bu the same thing happens. At this point I am going to have somone look at it.

Well it has been 3 weeks today and again I want to thank all that had replied to my issues. I am now back up and running after havint to completely format my haed drive and start all over. I was able to recover about 95% of my data. The issues were spyware, the registery was a mess and unable to be cleaned up up. My frien of over 40 years who has his own computer business was responsibe for rebuiding may machine.
