If you can figure this out you're a genius

I was using Firefox to send email from within my CCC college email account. It did a pop-up blocker and I kept clicking "allow" pop-ups at the site.
It never let me Reply or compose to the sender. And in the URL it showed the following string:

https://webmail.ccc.edu/en/mail.html...=en&cert=false

Now, I'm also having problems using IE. There seems to be all kind of javascript errors popping up at the same CCC college email site. The message I get when I try to send email is:

Javascript error / https://webmail.ccc.edu/comp_fs.html...ble=true&lang: <https://webmail.ccc.edu/comp_fs.html?rtfpossible=true&lang> ....

I have no idea what all this means, so if you can figure it out please let me know.
I'm in touch with the webmaster. But I doubt he knows what to do.

Also -- I cannot for the life of me figure out how to uninstall IE 6.0 and re-install it. The control panel doesn't have the program...and I looked and looked on the internet for instructions.

The links you provided clearly show that it is NOT your problem. It's the code. I'd suggest using a third party email such as yahoo, netscape, etc. in the interim until the(ir) problem is solved. As far as IE..., to repair or remove IE, go to control panel, add/remove programs, on the left you should see a link that states "add/remove windows components", click that, then click click "IE", go from there.

#1- this is a MUST use email, because I work for the college. So I MUST use the email.
#2 - as stated before, when I got to the Control Panel on MY computer, there is no IE listed. I've looked several times, and I don't see it. Maybe it's under another name, like Windows (something) or Microsoft (something), but it's not in the control panel. Here's a list of what's listed under Win and MS:

1- MS .NET framework 1.1
2 - MS .NET framework hotfix 1.1
3 - MS Money 4 - MS Professional 2003 5 - MS Works
6 - Windows Installer 3.1

Now on the left side of the panel there is a button "Add/remove windows components" when I click, there is a check mark next to Internet Explorer. And above it states "add or remove a component...."
Is that what you mean?

Is that what you mean?" YES ! click that... You will be given an option when you click to either repair, remove, re-install, etc. As far as the email question, I wish that I had the answer, I don't. Just a stab in the dark re. "javascript error", download the latest version of java runtime environment, (JRE) from http://www.sunmicrosystems.com If this link is in error, MODS please correct.

Sal-gal, the link here will take you to a log-in page for your email...https://webmail.ccc.edu/... Perhaps you should not use firefox, instead use IE. via the "address" bar.

After going to the site, it confirmed:

CONGRATULATIONS, you have the Latest version of Java!

So it must be the college email website.
It only happens with a few of the email that I send out. Not all the email.

It seems to be a mistake on the college server end. They're trying to find out why.
