Absolutely. If a file containing a 'nasty' is transferred from one computer to another by whatever means, the 'nasty' is transferred with the file. Hopefully you'll have the proper protection in place on the receiving computer that will not let the 'nasty' out.Quote:

If malware gets onto one machine, it can spread through the LAN as easily as anything. Have AV on all the computers, and if you suspect that one of them may have picked something up, unplug its network cable until you get it cleaned up.
