Giant ZAP!!!

I was using my computer yesterday. There was a little 'wierd' weather. It's in the basement. Lightning must have struck somewhere nearby because my arm shot up off the mouse and my whole arm went numb. After/during the shock I saw a flash and then heard it moments after. I almost fell off my chair. The computer locked up but I restarted and now it's just fine. Whooohooo. That was exciting. My arm hurt for two hours after.

I think maybe I should have kept that UPS.

Anybody else have a shocking or near-death experience with computers?

No....but I don't get standard Windows error messages anymore....

Instead of "this program has performed an illegal operation...."

I get, "Try that again, and I'll blow your head off!"


Quite frankly....my computer has gotten downright rude anymore.... :D
