Back Button disabled
I am using IE6 SP2. The back button on about 3/4 of the pages I view will not work. I know it's not because the site has disabled it because if I visit a site I created, it still does it. Along with the other problem I posted (cannot open more than one browser window at a time) this is making my browsing miserable.

Just adjacent to the Back button is a tiny pull-down arrow. Click on it instead, to get a recent pages list.
The Back button function is affected by the software code of the page you are visiting. Of course, some of them would like to keep you from leaving.

The drop down menu shows you where clicking the Back button will take you--the top of the drop down list.
Very often a webpage will redirect you to advertisements and other pages in the background, so you will not be aware of the redirection. But if you click Back you are asking to go to that redirection site--not the site you expected. If you have a HOSTS file or have put the redirection site into your Restricted Sites you may not be able to reach the page that did the redirection. That could account for your not being able to see anything when you click Back.
