PC Lock down v Malware Removal Tools ?
Hi All,
Looking at putting 'lock down' software on some pc's as a way of
restricting the amount of malware infections. Single user to 2 or
3 networked pc's.
Looked at Deep Freeze from Faronics, not totally convinced
although I haven't tested there 'anti-executable' software as yet.
I'm of the one product doesn't solve all problems school
but people not wishing to spend endless time running Anti-Virus,
Anti-Spyware scans etc., may benefit from a perceived one or two
product approach.
There seems wisdom in preventing infections with the lock down approach
rather than the trend of pattern matching malware software as they
become known. Whether that works in the real world is the answer
I'm looking for...
Interested in opinions of those using products like 'deep freeze'
as to there viability or otherwise.
Thanks...
