Is this an Active Directory domain?
Is 192.168.0.10 the server you're running NSLookup from?
....and sorry, but I have to ask. Is 192.168.0.10 a valid DNS server for your domain?
it is an ad domain, named as w3k.com.Its actually 192.168.1.46.I had by mistake eneterd the ip ,while editing .
192.168.1.46 is the dns server .
when i type nslookup,i get
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.1.46
I thought you were talking about a new version of windows for servers ie Win3000, but I think you are talking about a server for a site called Win3KQuote:

ya its windows 2003 enterprise edition
w3k is a name given to identify it as a windows 2003 server ,i think nix was thinking of win 3000(??????????) ,as posted by his comment as win3k server ,which i have no where mentioned ........
Ne way ,let me know abt the ns lookup issue
looks like I mixed the reference to win3k in your first post and w3k.com above to come up with a site win3k.comQuote:

Edit: seems google stats agree.
win3k - 700 hits
win2k3 - 405,000 hits
The first for win3k is a VDr hit so that's good though :)
