No connection to the internet is avaliable?

Hi all! I'm having an odd problem with my cable internet connection. Every 5 minutes or so when surfing the 'net, Internet Explorer 6 keeps telling me that no connection to the internet is avaliable. When I hit "try again", it starts to work again. It is more of an annoyance than anything else. None of the other computers on my network do this. My computer is wired to a wireless router that is connected to my cable modem. Any suggestions?

Here's a few things you can try:

1) Try connecting the computer to a different port on the router.
2) Replace the network cable.
3) Download the latest network card drivers from the manufacturers website.
4) Try a different network card.

I tried a wireless card in the computer, & disabled the onboard nic, but still got the same results. All drivers are up to date. I just re-ran the network setup wizard, and am hoping for the best. I don't think this is a hardware issue.
