security manager from comcast

i might venture to say that the title is an oxymoron!..has anyone out there used this POS(IMO)?...what a system killer, a buddy d/l'd from Comcast and his laptop basically ran like a slug..disable and runs fine..try to uninstall and all hell breaks lose..strange little program...any opinions?

Comcast doesn't support it any longer, perhaps because of the problems you describe..
