where can I learn about computer hardware specifics on the internet?

I was wondering where on the internet, I can learn about hardware specifics. For example, in the area of RAM, I want to learn about what DDR is and what brands of DDR RAM are efficient, or what PC4200 means. Really specific stuff like that, but not just for RAM, I want to learn specifics about motherboards, processors, videocards, soundcards, you name it!

I do not want reviews or editorials on what the latest motherboards, etc. I just want technical information about all the numbers I see when I go to newegg.com and look at a motherboard for sale that has a whole bunch of numbers like 30948 mhz or 500 mb of this and that, etc. I want to learn this basic information and I'd prefer to read about this stuff on the internet.

thanks for the sites, I've seen the first one before and it was alright, but the 2nd one is really helpful, almost what I am looking for.

by any chance, do any of you know any sites that are more organized and specific like for example, they start with the motherboard and explain was CPU sockets are, then FSB's, then expansion slots....and then go over what's ideal in the present?

It's not the cheapest book in the world, but it's a goldmine of computer hardware information, and I've never found any website that comes even close.
