If anyone would like to experiment, Grisoft has released a public Beta of a combined Antivirus/Firewall. Note that it's not wise to use Beta software on a system you can't afford to have any problems with.

Just wondering if anyone has tried AVG's AV and Firewall beta version. Any problems encountered? I guess I'm chicken to try, but my EZTrust free edition ran out so I thought I would try the AVG. Is there any other trial or free edition of a firewall out there that is good?
