Mozilla/Firefox

Hello, 3 days ago I installed Firefox and I thought everything was OK. Anything I did worked OK. Then Friday night I opened VirtualDr from "Favorites" on the start page ( which is set to go straight to the XP fourm ). The XP page showed normal except that none of the threads showed, even the add showed on screen right. I could click on "Announcements:" Vdr's policy on lost passwords ect. ect. by Big John, and it would open that thread. Nothing else worked and it was the same in every fourm. Somehow I got the second page to open in Hyjack this fourm but not page 1.

In order to discribe this on a fourm can someone explaine what makes these pages work? Is it VB Script, unicode, what makes these pages display, I'm not that knowledgable about web sites. The only thing I could think to change in options on Mozilla was Character Encodeing by default was off and I set it to universal. I followed the guidlines on install for windows and I have left almost everything set as default.
