Strange Problem With Inline Auto Complete
Hello Everyone and a Very Happy Easter!!! :D
I just recently bought a new computer and was setting everything up and putting my programs back in and etc and I've noticed two things that are bugging the daylights out of me.
I went into Control Panel and clicked on Internet Options and clicked the Content tab and then clicked Auto Complete as I've always done in the past on computers. It gave the selections such as forms and usernames and passwords on forms and web addresses and etc and I have all of these checked. I also have checked where it says to prompt me to save passwords.
The problem is that now after two full weeks of basically filling in the same passwords and usernames on things, it has yet to flash up with a suggestion for me to click on. I also notice something else that is probably related, but not sure.
I use Outlook Express to run my Premium Hotmail Account through. I've done this for years and am using the upgraded pay service with Hotmail now also. I configured the account just fine and it all synchronized, but now, each time I open Outlook Express, I get a small box that already has my Hotmail e-mail filled out but is asking me for my password. The box below is checked but shaded out saying Save Password. I have gone into Outlook Express and added my password more times than I can count, and clicked on the button to save password and hit apply, but it always goes back to the blank password box.
I have Window's XP Home edition as I was running on my previous computer and my room mate just bought a new system with XP home edition and I set her's up and none of this is happening to her.
I would appreciate any ideas on how I can get Window's to use the auto complete and also for Outlook Express to quit prompting me for a password. I know it's easy to add it each time, but it's just a pain.
Thank you so much! I can always count on this board!!
:)
