I would like to create Slipstreamed XP/SP2 Bootable CD. As I was reading few articles about this, I realized that you need the original Windows XP disc. When I bought my PC from Mesh few years back, they have only provided me with "Mesh Recovery CD" but no original Windows XP CD. I suppose I will not be able to create this bootable CD then?

I had problems with updating to WinXP SP2, and have been getting some great comments, including directions for a Slipstreamed WinXP CD.

Thank you for your reply Dave. I suppose you have got your original Windows XP CD.....but as I said I have only got the "Recovery CD". I don't suppose it will do it?
As long as your Mesh recovery CD has the i386 folder on it, then there shouldn't be a problem with slipstreaming the Service Pack. If you don't have that folder (some recovery CD's are Ghost image files) then you are out of luck.
Ahhh, I have that particular file SuperSparks. I suppose I can have a go at it...following the instructions of Elder Geek.
