Trojans

I have winxp. I use a firewall (nortons) that is up to date. I scan with adaware a few times per week, I have an anti virus program and I can with it often, I also scan with yahoo's anti spy. I just completed a scan with my AV and it found 2 trojans! How are these getting in? Is there something else I should be doing? Starting to get on my nerves. Thanks.

The thing that you should also remember is that you should only have one antivirus software running on your p.c

if you have more than one anti virus package they may conflict and start punching holes in there own walls so there letting things in

Using more than one a/v program is not a problem so long as you only let one of them run automatically when you boot. You can have more if you just use them to manually scan files on demand.

Thanks guys. I will use my regular AV to scan with. I read the link about how to keep the pc secure and I believe I have all of that covered. Thanks for the advice.
