Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.1

I have an IPAQ #H3835 and am using Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.1 on Windows XP Home Edtion. It has been working previously and all of a sudden it does not Sync. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled and still does not find the device. It is connected by USB CABLE.
Any thoughts on what have gone wrong.

Try going into tools and connection settings and making sure the usb option is ticked - failing that try ringing HP tech support - I've always found them quite helpful.

Thanks for the info. I managed to get it fixed. Not really sure what happened.
