It plays in Media Player 8. Not great audio quality, but nothing particularly wrong with it.
Works for me in XP with mediaplayer 9. What is the problem? any error messages? Maybe your firewall is blocking the data?
Plays ok on my XP-Pro WMPlayer10. But I notice a lot of 'flash' stuff on that site too. Could be it's interfering with your codec's possibly...
I have no idea what my problem is, I played some stuff from that site last week on Windows media Player version 9 and it went OK. I upgraded to Windows media Player version 10 and now it doesn't work for me though i can listen to stuff from other sites with no problem.
I appreciate any ideas you guys may have. thx
I agree with Ridge. You are probably missing the right codecs.
I don't usually like installing all of these, but it should work.
KliteCodecPack
I disabled my firewall but it still didn't work, I did a system restore to a time prior to my media player upgrade still it didn't work. I then looked at the configuration of my router and lo and behold it has a setting under security listed as "Filter Multicast" with the choices being "enabled" and "disabled" but neither was selected so I selected "disabled" and it worked!
Apparently multicasting was being filtered by default. With multicasting filter now disabled the file plays perfectly on my media player.
Thank you all for your input. :D
That's good to know.. may help others in the future.. thanksQuote:
