Well I admit I have been on drugs , following an accident and perhaps it's me , however does anybody else notice the weird posts and even weirder responses of late? I find it difficult to take this place seriously lately. Come on guy's who is pulling whose leg?
I think a couple of the newer members are trying to force their elite form of humour onto the rest of us.
I haven't been around much lately, seemed HJT and SP2 threads were takiing over the place so I sort of lost interest.
It seemed that nothing "meaty" was being posted.
I notice there wasn't even an OT last week ?
Maybe it got deleted like the one I posted on the 13th August re Olympic games because a flame war errupted in it ?

It does sound a bit like Aprils fools, only it seems that its only fools (without the April).
I have seen this in a few posts i can't recall them though
You'd think people would have better things to do with their time. Then again I've been proven wrong before.
Regrettably all forums have this sort of thing happen every once in a blue moon. I'm all for a bit of lightheartedness now and again, but some people just don't know when to stop unfortunately. We are dealing with it.
Nix, the inevitable proliferation of Hijack This logs is one of the reasons that we created a new forum especially for them. The other forums aren't affected.
I think some people are hard on other people around here. If they have a puter problem we/you should be in there helping them with some kind of answer even if it is to get the thread moving. I see problems and question that to me have been silly/dumb at one time but this is how you learn the PUTER. So lets CHILL OUT and cut people a break and pitch in there to help them out.

I am struck however with how many folks are writing in with HijackThis logs and contributing to the Virus and Security forum. It seems like people are under attack lately. My large corporation was infected one day last week, and as for me, I've just come off a format and clean reinstall due to serious, repeated infestations of various kinds.
This seems to be all the rage these days: who can we hack??
It's a humongous downer.
