How To Determine Processor Temp - Win95

I am asking for a friend, how do you tell the temp that the processor is running at in Win95? I have Win98 and use Dr. Watson, and also, what is considered HOT?

Is there anything on Win95 that monitors the temp?

I have an AMD K6-2 450 that was giving me nightmares because of (ANY) processor temp over 130. I think my friend might be having the temp problem because nothing else has worked to stop illegal operations.

I replaced the HeatSink fan, installed a case fan and Rain v1.0 and it now purrs along at about 110 on average.

Highly recommend that Rain btw, dropped the temp of my processor by 20 degrees within 10 minutes of installing it. Incredible.

You would need a 3rd party software program, as there is nothing built into Win 95. Also, the motherboard must have a sensor for the software to work, there are many freeware programs out there, look here:
