a look at my Ad-Aware SE list

I just downloaded the Ad-Aware SE personal edition, then ran it.
Here is the list I got. I advice would be appreciated.

Its just the most recently used lists kept by various programs etc

Delete them if you want .


You could also use MRU-Blaster from http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/mrublaster.html

I'd like to know if those were candidates for deletion.

Yes, you can delete them. They're called 'Negligible Risk Entries'. You won't get them if you turn off the feature that searches for them.

Open Ad-aware SE and click Start. On the next screen you'll see a green button that says "Search for negligible risk entries". Click the green button and it will turn red with an X in the center. Now you won't get all of those entries that don't mean anything.

nganvu--I think if you right click on any one of those MRU List entries (MRU means "most recently used"), you will get options to see details. Eventually you also will be told that MRU lists are really no problem. Notice that you are on the Negligible tab. I think you can tell AdAware to not scan negligible items. And as has been said it won't hurt to delete. MRU lists, of themselves, do not cause any problems, nor are they spyware. The only bad consequence of keeping them, is that someone with access to your PC could see where you have been.
Notice I said "I think", since I have no such list to look at right now.
