Does anyone has the same Windows Update screen as I have?
And my IE version says: blablable XPSP2 blablabla
Does anyone have the same IE version as mine?
I get the same screen. It is just a new way of presenting the updates.
Did anyone else get a new Windows Update scheme? My firewall piped up asking me to grant Windows Update Net access. I did and then it popped up practically demanding that I update the OE security patch.
It wouldn't get off my system tray til I did, even when I clicked cancel. I finally installed it just to get it off my back. Then it wanted me to reboot and wouldn't leave me alone til I did that. This new Windows Update thing is a pest!
Thank you, Robcaro.
OOps, I forgot to insert an attachment of my IE screen shot.
Sorry.
Here it comes:
Your first attachment shows the new version 5 of Windows Update. The version everyone is familiar with is version 4.
My IE version is:
6.0.2900.2180 (SP2)
That is what all of will see in the near future.Quote:
