I recently installed both, XP Bayone 9-in-1 Combination Smart Media Reader/Writer and Ultra 6 Port USB 2.0 PCI Card. I have been receiving a blue screen error message ever since and I am having a hard time figuring out where the problem lies. I have enclosed the Blue Screen image to see if someone can help me figure this out :confused:

To display an image within the content of a message you need to use an "img" tag; be aware, you need to have a place to hold your images in order to get the "img tag". Or you can use the option to upload from your harddrive/computer as an attachment. Note: the image as jpg needs to be the appropriate size allowed in VDR.
And on the PCI card, did you install any drivers for the card, if needed?
No... Any drivers installed would have been through Win XP PNP.Quote:

Have a look in these places for errors
1. Right click My Computer / Properties / Hardware / Device Manager.
Look for "Yellow" errors
2. Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / Admin Tools / Event Viewer / System.
Look for "Red" errors. If there are a lot, some of them will be dupicates so just post one of each.
Take a note of the Event ID and also the Source and post them back.
Can you save the blue screen as a jpg. Then after you write your message, and after previewing it, click on "Browse" at the bottom of the page. Find your jpg and double click it. Then click "Submit"

This is usually a driver or RAM problem, and considering what you have just done, it is most likely driver.

Is it possible that there is a conflict with my other older 2 port 1.1 USB PCI card I have installed. I need to find the problem soon it keeps happing more and more often :confused:

If you have two PCI cards installed it could be a conflict with one or the other. I would suggest removing both then rebooting XP to see if the error message goes away. Then install just the newer or older and see if the message returns.
Have you tested your memory? Although, I do believe this is a driver problem as the entry in your message says: USBOHC1. That would make me suspect driver for the PCI USB card/s.
The error message does not come up every time. It comes up sporadically, that's what is so confusing and makes it hard for me to figure out if it is solved when I change something... :confused:
This continues to be a problem and as I have said before it does not happen every time, yet it continues to pop up at the worst of times. I am somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to things that are wrong with my OS etc. I know there is a problem and I will pursue it until it is solved. I would appreciate any help that I can get to resolve this problem... :)
