printing problem

Have been using XP and an HP printer for some time with no problems then all of a sudden it started printing in reverse order. i.e. page 3, then page 2 and then page 1, rather than page 1, then 2 then 3. This is a problem when printing checks because the accounting program will not reconcil properly.

We removed the printer then re-installed and everything was fine, for awhile but the problem has surfaced again. Any suggestions for a more permanent fix.

Not sure whats causing it but there should be something in printer options as to which order it prints in.
