Just downloaded and installed Firefox 0.9 and the program only loaded once to screen. The second time, task manager showed firefox.exe running, but no browser ever showed up on the screen.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a bad install. I would uninstall/reinstall it . I had to do that once.
Thanks but tried that three times, still no luck.
I realized that there are two options to load Firefox 0.9, Normal and "Safe Mode". The normal does not work, but the "Safe Mode" works fine. Could someone please explain?

By all accounts they're having a few bug issues with 0.9 right now, check out the forums at Mozilla... the final 0.8 is more stable than the early 0.9 and you can still download it (often the case with Mozilla stuff) and they've apparently produced 0.9 to a predetermined deadline which seems a little bit silly of them as it hasn't been properly debugged...
The browser will be superb when finished, a year ago l used FB 0.6 "satisfactorily" and the pre' self-installer - 0.7 got better, then for some reason Firebird got renamed Firefox... now there's every chance it will become more far more user friendly once its themes and extensions truly catch up with 0.9 and once the initial bugs are ironed out...
Mozzy say they've stripped out so much redundant code when compared to Mozilla 1.6 - the donor program, and given it's now less than 5Mb l am certain the end result will be worth waiting for and look forwards to it's final release in what l hope should now be under 12 months away...
