thumbnail view problem

I have a bunch of video files on my computer. They are a variety of forrmats, .mpg, .avi, etc... I used to see most of the thumbnail previews of them, but now (for unknown reasons) I only see about 10% of the thumbnails.

Any idea why or how to fix it ?
