Domain Forwarding

Okay, it has been awhile since I have done this. I am getting a Static IP Address (DSL) installed today. I have a FQDN from a registrar that I have had for over a year.
Since this is a home account (right), BellSouth will not setup the DNS.
The provider of the domain soes allow for forwarding but their wizard asks for a domain name to forward. Would't an IP Address suffice for this along with the addresses of BellSouth's DNS servers?
