I would like to know how I can edit my boot sequence. I used to have 2 OS, now I only have one and I would like to eliminate the old boot sequence.
The file boot.ini contains the boot sequence. It's reflected in control panel->system->advanced tab in the startup and recovery section (W2K talk - corresponding place in XP ;) )
HOW TO: Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP

Or you can go to Start>Run and type "msconfig", then in the boot.ini tab you can either delete the line for the non-existant OS, or probably easier is to just set the timeout value to zero.
Thanks all for the help. Problem solved:)
supersparks whhen trying to do what you suggest when i set mine to zero a window pops up and says it must be set between 3 and 999
That's odd. Maybe it's a "feature" of msconfig. It's certainly possible to set it directly in boot.ini though.
