Zip Question
I recently downloaded a screensaver and found it in the IEXPLORE\CACHE directory. It had a
.ZIP extension on the filename.
My pkunzip program generated the message in quotes below when I told it to "unzip" the file.
The requirements for running the screensaver are for 95 or better, but I downloaded and tried to
extract it on a Windows 3.1 computer. I want to have it available on my Windows 95 computer in
the future, but the 95 computer is not available yet. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Searching ZIP iea23805.zip
PKUNZIP: (W04) Warning! IEA23805.zip error in ZIP Use PKzipFIX
PKUNZIP: (E11) no files found."
Later, when I tried using the PKZIPFIX program, I received another message similar to below.
"Scanning: C:\directory\filename.zip
Reconstructing ZIP directory
Writing pkfixed.zip
No files found to fix. File is most likely not a zip file."
*Note: the pkunzip program worked fine to unzip another zip file I had on the hard drive.

Sounds like a corrupt .ZIP file. Anyway you can download it again?

It is also possible that the extension was changed for downloading. That should be noted on the site you downloaded from. Files with an SCR extension are suspect in anti-virus programs. EXE esxtensions as well.
