Virus?

My Grand Son called today that his computer said it had two virui detected. The first one was no problem "YPAGER.EXE".

The second one I not been able to find any information at Trend Micro, Norton, Google and this site. Has anyone heard and knows what "PE_TARITE.A" is and removal proceedures?

He has Trend Micro anti virus and I would have thought they would have information on it since they detected it. :rolleyes:

He lives down on the coast so this is via phone and email.

"PE_TARITE.A" may have been misspelled.

Sophos has one called "PE_PARITE.A,"

About the third of fourth try he decided it was a "P" and not a "T".
Man you think a high school junior could tell the difference between the two. :rolleyes:

We had another spelling adventure about a month and a half ago with the same virus.

:D Will call the grandson this afternoon after school for a report, if I can catch him before he goes to work. :D

We lost electrical power last night around 2050 and did not get it back till 0225 this morning, just in time to get ready for work. :(

After thinking about it some, there is no telling what font set he is running or if he even had his glasses on. :rolleyes: ;)
