so is it the wireless network that is giving you the problem or the dialing? if its the dialing ... that is one of the weirdest problems ive heard of
I gave up, for now, on the networking until I receive more hardware to fix the problem. My concern now is that I must have done something to cause my phone to falsely ring when my PC is restarted and I would like to fix this problem!Quote:

How did you attempt the wireless networking and what hardware did you use as it should have no effect on your phoneline at all?
I beleive if you have a bad earth on the phoneline it can cause problems perhaps you should recheck you phoneline connections for anything untowards.
During my attempt to set up the connection I was ask how I connected to the internet and my choice was through a dialup connection, this being my phone line, I figure it could have something to do with the problem being I didn't have it before!
